Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager or Manager to lead our team and maintain our reputation for high-quality, locally-sourced dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of restaurant operations, customer service, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
    • Manage scheduling, inventory, and supply chain to minimize waste and maximize resource utilization.
    • Collaborate with the executive chef and kitchen staff to ensure menu consistency and quality.
  • Customer Experience:
    • Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and attentive service.
    • Address customer feedback and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
    • Uphold the restaurant’s reputation for outstanding dining experiences.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of dedicated staff members.
    • Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth.
    • Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team members meet the restaurant’s standards.
  • Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and drive revenue growth.
    • Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
    • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
    • Implement and maintain health and safety policies and procedures to provide a safe environment for staff and guests.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to ensure the restaurant remains competitive and compliant.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a high volume casual/fine dining establishment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record of meeting financial targets and maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Passion for hospitality and sustainable food practices.
