The Merchant Kitchen & Drinks, a 200-seat American Brasserie located in the Downtown Crossing neighborhood is looking for a new Service Manager. The Merchant offers a full dining room, lounge and bar with a large draft beer selection as well as craft cocktails and an extensive wine list.
The ideal candidate will be a leader by example, with a positive attitude, enthusiastic, creative, organized and have the ability to work with a dedicated team (front & back). Candidates should have a love of hospitality and understand the importance of building strong relationships with guests.
Responsibilities will include floor and team management, staff hirings and trainings. Managing and leading FOH staff during scheduled floor shifts as well as maintaining an active floor presence to ensure a high-level guest experience and building relationships with guests. Working with the rest of the management team to ensure a high level of service every day.
