The Langham, Boston is one of the city’s most historic hotels and one of the most iconic luxury hotels in the US. You will be leading a passionate & talented Grana team to drive for culinary excellence, by delivering high standards in guest experience & colleague engagement in alignment with the culture and values of Langham Hospitality Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing operation of Grana Restaurant
- Prepare daily/weekly payroll and schedule
- Schedule and conduct monthly departmental meetings
- Complete projects delegated by Manager in timely manner
- Maintain inventory of supplies/approve all requisitions
- Maintain POS systems and update product pricing
- Ensure maximum level of guest service while maintaining Langham standards
- Handle guest requests/complaints
- Responsible for inventory and supplies, approve all requisitions to ensure operation is held a par standards
- Maintain a high level of creativity among the team with regards to Food & Beverage menus
- Supportive functions: 85% floor management,15% administrative work,
Qualifications:
- Food Safety: Abides by food safety requirements and ensures that others do so by monitoring FIFO inventory and visually inspecting food prep and delivery activities.
- Experience with and good understand of Micros POS and F&B Menu knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, minimum 1 year of experience in Food & Beverage Management in a 4-5 star hotel or independent restaurant.
- ServSafe Alcohol and/or TIPS Certificate preferred.
