The Butcher Shop is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join their team. The team at TBS is tenured and capable and works very well together. It is a great place to work!
TBS is a busy neighborhood restaurant open 5 days a week Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner in the South End. They offer street seating, limited indoor dining, and a takeout menu.
The Sous Chef will ideally have at least 2 years experience with butchery and high volume operations and will be able to run cold side and hot side stations; order, cost, manage inventory, scheduling, facilities, payroll, and direct operating expenses. A culinary degree and certifications in Serv Safe and MA Food Allergen training are preferred.
This is a full time position offering a competitive salary and benefits.
Weekend availability is a must as well as evenings. Conversational Spanish is a plus.
