The Bluebird Bar & Wood-Fired Grill – Sous Chef

The Bluebird Bar & Wood-Fired Grill is looking for a Sous Chef to join the team in their new West Newton restaurant. The Bluebird is an 88 seat, live-fire restaurant, with a big, fun bar, featuring an abundance of bright, fresh vegetable dishes, steaks, whole fish, and skewers from the wood grill, as well as a raw bar.

They are seeking a Sous Chef candidate with the following qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-6 years cooking experience + 2 years Sous Chef experience or 8 years cooking experience
  • Experience with Raw Bar and holding of shellfish
  • Experience with wood and charcoal cooking a plus
  • Servsafe Manager certified, or completion within two weeks of hiring
  • Experience with Ordering and Inventory
  • Tues-Sat Availability for now, Flexible Availability when fully open (nights/days/weekends)
