Tasting Counter – Beverage & Service Coordinator

Tasting Counter is looking for passionate, hospitality oriented lifelong learners to join our team as Beverage & Service Coordinator.

If you are passionate and knowledgeable about alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and eager to apply and share your knowledge in a hospitality focused environment, this position is well-suited for you. This is not a traditional restaurant role and the right person is one who is looking to be a part of a dynamic work environment where every day brings an opportunity to do something unique and different. This position integrates hospitality and education – Beverage & Service Coordinators work collaboratively with our team to select and serve a variety of beverages (natural wine, craft beer, premium sake, and handcrafted non-alcoholic beverages) during our ticketed lunch and dinner experiences, building vendor relationships, educating our staff about beverage and hospitality, and engaging in learning workshops and education.

Skills and Requirements: A minimum of 2 years of beverage experience and extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and sake is required but kindness, empathy, intellectual curiosity, and self-awareness are paramount. Excellent communication skills, hospitality mindset, and aspiration to learn and grow are also required. A key element to Tasting Counter’s success is our systems-based approach to operations.
