Straight Wharf Restaurant is currently accepting applications from an experienced restaurant manager for their 2019 season. (the season runs from May through October, and perhaps longer)
If you are interested in being a part of the restaurant named “nantucket’s best” five times, in being a fireman and a coach and a cheerleader and a den mother and a plumber and to provide their guests with summer eating at its most elemental, thence have a job for you. They are looking for a committed, hospitality-minded professional who exhibits grace under pressure, demonstrates a predisposition to serve and who enjoys restaurant work (translation: if you’re bitter, been-there or tired of the darn customers, this isn’t for you….) the right candidate will work directly with the chef at an island classic (featured in Food and Wine, Bon Appetit, The Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, The New York Times et al). They are a Green Restaurant Association certified restaurant, and they work to make sure that each year is better than the one before; they need your help to make it happen.

- Please have significant fine-dining experience.
