Stoked Wood Fired Pizza Co. – Food Truck Manager

Stoked Wood Fired Pizza Co. is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced person to manage and operate their food truck. This position is for an employee that desires to grow with them over multiple years. The food truck is operational year round and serves at private businesses and public locations.

Founded in 2014 Stoked Wood Fired Pizza Co. is a multiple award winning full service restaurant, food truck, and catering operation. They put a focus on serving the highest quality pizza, craft beer, and cocktails in a relaxed fun atmosphere.

The typical weekly working schedule for vending is Monday through Friday for lunch with additional dinner shifts on Monday and Tuesday. The Food Truck Manager’s regular day would start by 8:00AM and include coordinating morning logistics, driving the truck to the location, serving lunch, coaching the team, and returning the truck to the restaurant. Special event and catering schedules can consist of weekday evenings and/or weekends, and vary per event requirements.

Job Responsibilities are:

  • Meeting the truck at the restaurant and driving it to the various locations
  • Overseeing stock levels
  • Ordering/picking up supplies
  • Maintaining all required certifications, including but limited to Serv Safe and Allergen Awareness
  • Leading, coaching and working alongside the team of 3-6 crew members through each service
  • Providing exceptional customer service and crew mentoring
  • Working closely with the Catering manager and managing all aspects of on site catering logistics
  • Working closely with and assisting the Kitchen manager with overall restaurant operations
  • Scheduling
  • Controlling labor and food cost
  • Food prep
  • Ensuring the truck is clean–inside and out—at all times
  • Ensuring the truck maintenance schedule is being followed
  • Fulfilling customer food orders
  • Complete knowledge of menu, food truck and catering handbooks, and compliance with all procedures
  • Accurate cash handling skills including the ability to document sales info
  • Successfully passing pre-employment and ongoing background checks
  • Maintaining a clean driving record
  • Handling customer inquiries
  • Making suggestions and improvements to the business operations and developing the food truck
  • Liaison with customers, employees, suppliers, licensing authorities and sales representatives
