State Park – Kitchen Manager

State Park is hiring a Kitchen Manager!

State Park is a restaurant disguised as a bar, the food is prepared with passion, creativity and commitment to quality. Our menu is influenced by fine dining, modern gastronomy, dive bars, classic techniques and nostalgic family dining. The drinks selection at State Park offers something for all, whether for cocktail enthusiasts, beer drinking shuffleboard players, or diners for a magnum of wine. State Park opened in December 2013 and is currently closed due to the pandemic.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Kitchen Manager, looking to learn and grow. The Kitchen Manager will assist in managing the kitchen and ensure that prep and service are running efficiently and smoothly. The Kitchen Manager will have the opportunity to create and have input on new menu creations. A key responsibility will be mentoring, training and disciplining staff (line cooks, prep cooks, etc.) The Kitchen Manager will work closely with the Sous Chef and all members of the restaurant’s management team to ensure the restaurant is operating according to the standards set by the ownership team and the Big Dipper Hospitality Group. They will be responsible for overseeing prep, training BOH staff and will share in administrative responsibilities. State Park’s managers are integral and active members of service. State Park’s managers are expected to be hands-on from the beginning to end of the service period – with the BOH, the service team, and management.
