Sportello, Chef Barbara Lynch‘s modern interpretation of a classic italian trattoria located in the eclectic Fort Point Neighborhood of South Boston is seeking a Manager to join their team. At present, Sportello is open Wednesday through Sunday for dinner only. They have a beautiful outdoor patio that they will be opening soon, expanding capacity and also potentially extending hours of operation to include brunch and lunch.
The Dining Room Manager is focused on staff training and development and execution during service. He/She is responsible for ensuring that staff have the wine and product knowledge they need to succeed, understand and uphold steps of service, and are enrolled in their core hospitality values: empathy, humility; exceeding expectations; teamwork; and passion for the work that you do and why you choose to do it. This individual will work closely with FOH and BOH management as well as with the Barbara Lynch Collective’s Senior Team. Ideal candidates will have 3 or more years restaurant experience with 1 at a managerial level.
