Sportello – Line Cook

Sportello, Barbara Lynch‘s modern interpretation of the classic trattoria in Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood, is seeking AM and PM Line Cooks to join the team. Sportello’s Italian spirit is reflected in the seasonal dishes created each day – fresh, handmade pastas, beautifully composed salads, and inventive, balanced entrees. From Chef Barbara’s signature tagliatelle bolognese to strozzapreti with braised rabbit, Sportello features comforting, trattoria-inspired dishes made with fresh ingredients.

Ideal applicants will have a minimum of two years experience in cuisine from scratch kitchens or similar. Applicants should demonstrate a passion for ingredients, technique, and hospitality. Ideal applicants will demonstrate a positive attitude and encourage teamwork within the kitchen. They should also present professionally and maintain a clean and tidy workstation as Sportello is an open kitchen. A strong desire to learn, eagerness to grow, solid work ethic, and a positive attitude are key traits for success.
