Sportello – Line Cook

Sportello, Barbara Lynch‘s modern interpretation of the classic trattoria in Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood, is seeking a full time Line Cook to join their team.

Sportello’s Italian spirit is reflected in the seasonal dishes created each day – fresh, handmade pastas, beautifully composed salads, and inventive, balanced entrees. From Chef Lynch’s signature tagliatelle bolognese to strozzapreti with braised rabbit, Sportello features comforting, trattoria-inspired dishes made with fresh ingredients.

Ideal applicants will have a minimum of three years experience in cuisine from scratch kitchens or similar. Applicants should demonstrate a passion for ingredients, technique, and hospitality. Ideal applicants will demonstrate a positive attitude and encourage teamwork within the kitchen. They should also present professionally and maintain a clean and tidy work station as Sportello is an open kitchen. A strong desire to learn, eagerness to grow, solid work ethic, and a positive attitude are key traits for success.
