Sportello, Barbara Lynch’s modern interpretation of the classic trattoria in Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood, is seeking a Line Cook to join their team.
Sportello’s Italian spirit is reflected in the seasonal dishes created each day – fresh, handmade pastas, beautifully composed salads, and inventive, balanced entrees – and in the supremely approachable, artisanal wine list created by Executive Wine Director Cat Silirie. From Chef Barbara’s signature tagliatelle bolognese, to strozzapreti with braised rabbit, and Rohan duck with farro and roasted carrots, Sportello features comforting, trattoria-inspired dishes made with fresh ingredients.
Applicants should demonstrate a passion for ingredients, technique, and hospitality. Ideal applicants will demonstrate a positive attitude and encourage teamwork within the kitchen. Previous restaurant experience or a culinary degree is preferred, but a strong desire to learn is paramount.
