Sportello is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to join their team. The team at Sportello is tenured and capable and works very well together. It is a great place to work!
Sportello is a busy neighborhood restaurant open 5 days a week Wednesday through Sunday for lunch and dinner in the Fort Point neighborhood of South Boston. They offer street seating, limited indoor dining, and a takeout menu.
The Chef de Cuisine will ideally have at least 3 years experience in Italian cuisine and will be able to run garde manger, pasta, and protein stations, order, cost, manage inventory, scheduling, facilities, payroll, and direct operating expenses. A culinary degree and certifications in Serv Safe and MA Food Allergen training are preferred.
This is a full time position offering a competitive salary and benefits.
Weekend availability is a must as well as evenings. Conversational Spanish is a plus.
