Sofra Cafe & Bakery is hiring dedicated counter staff to have trained and ready as they head into a busy Fall and holiday season. They are always looking for high-energy individuals who love giving great service and having fun at work. They offer flexible schedules, including weekends, as well as a structured training program. If you have some experience as a cashier, barista or trainer, that’s even better. Their counter staff and management team will provide you with the tools and training you’ll need to hit the ground running.

Take food orders, make specialty beverages from scratch, assemble orders, thrive in a small and busy environment, clean and maintain work stations, café and patio, give great customer service, educate guests on their retail products, use point of sale, make coffee like a barista, handle food, appreciate Eastern Mediterranean cuisine and become a part of a lively and supportive community of customers, vendors and colleagues.


Exudes excellent and consistent hospitality towards cafe guests and Sofra team, learns and supports teammates in learning the menu, becomes an avid user of TOAST (their touch screen point of sale system), replenishes products and supplies on the floor, assists in keeping café and work spaces neat and clean, works with urgency and a positive attitude, completes the guests order for take away or café, double checks orders for accuracy, asks questions, maintains an acute attention to detail as well as a desire to learn and grow, arrives to work on time, focused and with an open mind.
