Season To Taste is looking to hire a Production Chef to oversee day time prep for all Season to Taste products and services. The Production Chef should fundamentally be a good cook who can also crunch spreadsheets and lead a team of cooks to prep the menus of Culinary Director Mark Thompson and owner Robert Harris. An ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the restaurant industry, work well with others and hold themselves and the staff to a high standard of excellence. This is a salary position, with anticipated weekly hours generally being between 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday. They take Covid safety very seriously and in addition to all the standard mask/social distancing protocols, they test staff twice weekly.
When Covid hit they contracted and first focused on take out. Slowly the restaurant was reborn and is going strong. Their weekly meal service Family Dinner is also growing. If they have no vaccination setbacks, hopefully catering will return over the summer. The production chef hire will be integral to building the best restaurant and catering company that they can possibly be.
