Season To Taste in Cambridge is looking for an experienced Bar Lead to join the team!

Season To Taste is a chef-owned, welcoming, neighborhood restaurant. We feature locally sourced ingredients that are thoughtfully and consistently prepared, as well as eclectic, thoughtfully curated cocktails, wine, and beer. The Bar Lead is responsible for providing strategic direction and daily oversight of all bar operations. They strive to create a culture of excellence while ensuring superior quality and presentation in a fiscally responsible manner. The Bar Lead should be passionate and knowledgeable about craft cocktail culture. They have the ability to prepare classic cocktails using all proper techniques while also exploring their creative side with fun and seasonal ingredients.


  • Lead bar team with exceptional standards of service and hospitality
  • Develop and implement all cocktail menu changes and selection of spirits and beer
  • Manage and maintain day-to-day bar operation including prep, receiving and organization
  • Responsible for ordering all liquor / beer
  • Maintain controlled inventories to keep costs below industry average
  • Provide daily updates and education to FOH team in pre-service meetings
  • Act as the point person for all bar communication needs and service issues to management
  • Oversee the implementation of new products and brand training
  • Assist in the development of cocktail and liquor training programs for all FOH staff
  • Train new bar staff to company standards
  • Coach bar team in both their techniques and knowledge of bar products
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly, and always maintain a positive attitude
  • Monitor staff performance in all phases of service and job functions


  • 5+ years bartending, bar management experience a plus
  • In-depth understanding of all classic cocktails and craft cocktail culture
  • Working knowledge of all bar recipe techniques such as creation of syrups, infusions, shrubs, barrel-aging, fermentations, dehydrations, etc
  • Passionate about hospitality and creating the ultimate guest experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Positive, energetic, and upbeat attitude
  • Hard working and leads by example
  • Able to collaborate and work well with others
