Rosebud – Sous Chef

Alpine Restaurant Group based in Somerville, MA (Rosebud American Kitchen & Bar, Posto, Painted Burro, Osteria Posto in Waltham, and Burro Bar in Brookline) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Sous Chef at several of its restaurants.

This individual will join a professional team committed to excellence and consistency within a high volume atmosphere. The Sous Chef will work in conjunction with the chefs and management team with a variety of responsibilities ranging from employee development to product ordering, seasonal menu item testing, hands on involvement with the day-to-day operation of the restaurant etc.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong culinary background and organizational skills as well as a passion for leading a team. Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food cost controls are a must. A minimum of 2 years previous experience as kitchen management in a high volume, full service establishment is required. This position is full time and includes a competitive salary and benefits package.
