
Rebecca’s Culinary Group is looking for fun, friendly, food-oriented people to join our catering team as an Event Server at our Northeastern University location. Previous catering/hospitality experience is preferred. Events typically occur during regular business hours of Monday – Friday and closed on major holidays. As a Catering Server you will join a team of associates who collaborate in delivering a high-quality guest experience through great service and creative food. MBTA stops are conveniently located via the Green/Orange line and Ruggles Station.
Responsibilities:
- Meet the catering team at designated campus event space
- Maintain a professional and friendly appearance
- Take direction from Catering Supervisor Assist with setting room up with table or buffet linen, florals, china or eco-friendly disposable product (A facilities team will set up and break down tables and chairs) Provide excellent food and beverage service and anticipate guest needs
- Familiarity with Event Training Guide and Employee Handbook
- Takes initiative to help guests and other team members
- Understands food portions and allergens
- Performs additional responsibilities, as requested by the Catering Supervisor

- Ability to offer friendly, customer service Ability to take and follow direction Ability to work in a team environment with front and back of the house associates Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure Must be self-motivated and organized
- Available for part-time, on-call events
- ServSafe and Choke Saver certification a plus
Working Conditions:
Direct contact with guests, clients, and associates. The individual must be able to push and pull items up to 35 pounds. This position will spend 100% of the time moving and standing. Events may take place in a tented venue on campus in summer and fall months and the individual must be comfortable being exposed to heat, cold and noise.
Pay range dependent upon experience: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour

As a Catering Bartender you will join a team of associates who collaborate in delivering a high-quality guest experience through great service and creative cocktails. MBTA stops are conveniently located via the Green/Orange line and Ruggles Station.
Responsibilities:
- Meet the catering team at designated campus event space
- Set up bar according to event plan
- Maintain a professional and friendly appearance
- Welcome the customer
- Take direction from Catering Supervisor Anticipate guest needs
- Familiarity with Event Training Guide and Employee Handbook
- Takes initiative to help guests and other team members
- Verify age requirement
- Manage inventory
- Close up bar according to event plan
- Performs additional responsibilities, as requested by the Catering Supervisor
