Puritan and Company is seeking candidates for General Manager. The General Manager leads the Front of House team and partners with the Executive Chef on the overall management of the restaurant. They are seeking candidates who are as passionate about food & beverage as they are creating and curating positive culture for their team and guests.

The ideal candidate is a hardworking, empathetic leader with restaurant business acumen. A minimum of 3 years of management experience is required. A minimum of 1 year of General Management experience is required.
Existing experience should include payroll, maintaining financial goals, managing a large and varied staff, training and educational development and a decent understanding of all office related programs or the willingness to quickly learn any that you are unfamiliar with. The most important aspect of the job will be floor management of a bustling restaurant which requires a keen attention to detail and dining room flow. An ideal candidate lives for the rush of smoothly maintaining a busy and energetic dining room while making guests as happy as possible and going the extra mile. This is a full-time, salaried position, expected to work 5 days per week. They do not serve food or drinks late, allowing for very reasonable exit times and quality of life outside the restaurant.
