Posto is now accepting applications for a barback/service bartender position.
Located in Davis Square and minutes from the Red Line, Posto features a full menu with of Italian inspired dishes and of course their Neapolitan wood fired pizza. As the center piece of Posto, their wood burning oven allows them to cook pizza at temperatures in excess of 900 degrees. They import the finest “00” pizzeria flour and most flavorful San Marzano tomatoes from Italy and they use their own “Fiore di Latte” mozzarella cheese which is made fresh everyday. They use local farmers and artisans whenever possible to create Neapolitan classics as well as exciting new ones of their own!
They are seeking new barbacks/service bartenders to join their team. Ideal applicants will have general bartending knowledge, take pride in their work and be committed to hospitality. They are seeking someone who is passionate and seeking knowledge in the bartending world. It’s a great starter position for those looking to excel in the hospitality industry.
Previous restaurant experience is required.
Their barbacks work one on one with their bartenders to learn their bar program, classic cocktails, and general bartending techniques. The position is listed as barback but responsibilities include making all drink orders for the restaurant as well as general barback duties (stocking, juicing, garnishing, etc.).
Posto is currently looking for a barback for Thursdays and Sundays. Should the right person be looking to supplement their hours, there are opportunities to pick up other shifts as a backserver or host.
They constantly challenge their bar team to excel at both food and beverage service. Candidates will be expected to perform under the pressure of a busy bar and ensure that drinks reach tables within a quick and efficient manner.
