Osteria Posto is looking for a passionate, talented, and ambitious Sous Chef to join their culinary team within the Alpine Restaurant Group. Located in Waltham, their kitchen provides a high-energy work environment with a diverse and ever-changing menu focused on Reginal Italian Cuisine. Their food is American at the core and heavily influenced by the regions of Email-Romangna, Bologna, Campania, just to name a few. They source local products and use a variety of cooking techniques.
– Daily food preparation
– Helping the Chef and cooks oversee food production
– Expediting service
– Training others to execute the menu
– Menu concept and development
– Placing daily food orders
– Controlling food and Labor costs
– Being responsible for all daily kitchen operations
Successful candidates will be self-motivated, attentive to detail, and great at multitasking. Candidates need not have previous Sous Chef experience. They must lead by example and show a willingness to learn and grow. Applicants must be committed and willing to put in the effort to create great food each and every day. Candidates will be asked to do a day-long stage.
