Orchid 7 Fusion Bar & Grill is currently seeking to hire Servers to join our team.
As a server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring that customers have an enjoyable dining experience. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Greeting and escorting customers to their tables
- Presenting the menu and providing detailed information when asked (e.g. about portions, ingredients, or potential food allergies)
- Taking accurate food and drink orders, using a POS ordering software, order slips, or by memorization
- Serving food and drink orders in a timely manner
- Checking dishes and kitchenware for cleanliness and presentation and reporting any problems
- Arranging table settings and maintaining a tidy dining area
- Delivering checks and collecting bill payments
- Carrying dirty plates, glasses, and silverware to the kitchen for cleaning
- Meeting with restaurant staff to review daily specials, changes on the menu, and service specifications for reservations (e.g. parties)
- Following all relevant health department regulations
- Providing excellent customer service to guests
- Being attentive and patient with customers
- Effectively communicating with the Kitchen Staff to ensure orders are accurate and delivered promptly
- Being polite with our customers and ensuring they enjoy their meals
- Being a team player
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age
