Orchid 7 Fusion Bar & Grill is currently seeking to hire a Bartender to join our team.
As a bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for guests in a timely manner
- Creating new and innovative cocktail recipes
- Planning and presenting bar menu to customers
- Restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
- Maintaining a clean and organized bar area
- Taking orders and handling cash and credit card transactions
- Checking customers’ IDs to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages
- Providing excellent customer service to guests
- Offering menu recommendations and suggestions to guests
- Following all relevant health department regulations
- Monitoring the alcohol intake of guests and refusing service to customers who appear intoxicated
- Handling customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Ensuring that all supplies and ingredients are fully stocked
- Collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure that food and drink orders are delivered in a timely manner
- Maintaining a thorough knowledge of all menu items and specials
- Assisting with opening and closing duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of a wide range of drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years of age
