Oleana is looking to hire a full-time Pastry Chef. They are looking for enthusiastic individuals who love baking and who bring good energy to work. Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of baking experience and a working knowledge of kitchen basics, e.g. cleanliness, safety and organization of time. Candidates must be able to work at least one weekend day.
This is an opportunity for someone creative who is hoping to make a name for themselves and connect with the style of food and dining experience at Oleana. You will also have access to, support from, and consultations with, James Beard award nominated Maura Kilpatrick of Sofra Bakery.
At Oleana, they create food and beverage menus inspired by the Mediterranean and the Middle East. They build long-term relationships with their employees and support individuals who wish to further their career development within the food industry.

This position works approximately 45 hours a week.
