Join the team at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen at the Fairmont Copley Plaza today and you will work closely with the Executive Chef in the Restaurant and Banquet Kitchen to create a luxurious experience for guests. Join their Culinary leadership team in motivating, training, and managing the banquet and restaurant kitchens.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
  • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
  • Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
  • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
  • Must be effective at handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
  • Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
  • Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items by colleagues for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
  • Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback
  • Oversee two culinary teams (banquets and restaurant) with a focus on engagement and training

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work cohesively and collectively as part of a team
