This is a unique opportunity to join James Beard award-winner Chef-Owner Tim Cushman’s team of dedicated chefs at o ya, a contemporary Japanese omakase restaurant in Boston’s Leather District.
O ya seeks to hire a self-motivated, humble, professional cook who is eager to both learn and contribute ideas. Candidates must be serious about career and food, ego-free, dependable and have a consistent genuinely positive attitude. The team is close-knit and prepared for growth. Refined food preparation and 1-2 years of line experience is strongly preferred. Extensive Japanese food knowledge is not required. Position will be full time, and o ya is open Tuesday through Saturday for dinner service.
