Chef Barbara Lynch‘s flagship restaurant, No. 9 Park, is seeking a General Manager to lead the team. Located in an elegant townhouse in Boston’s historic Beacon Hill, No. 9 Park provides an intimate setting in which to enjoy Chef Barbara’s refined cuisine. From the thoughtfully selected wines to the warm hospitality, No. 9 Park continues to set the standard for fine dining in Boston, and has received numerous accolades, including but not limited to: a AAA Four Diamond Rating, 2012 James Beard Foundation Award for Outstanding Wine Program, and Boston Magazine’s Best of Boston and 50 Best Restaurants lists.
The General Manager is responsible for the financial health of the restaurant, employee development and engagement, service and hospitality, and guest relations. Candidates should have the ability to manage change and support and inspire the team both front and back of house. The General Manager will directly manage the front of house management team and will work closely with No. 9 Park’s Chef de Cuisine; he or she will have the full support of Barbara Lynch Collective’s senior management team.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3 years management experience in fine dining, excellent communication skills, and the ability to see the value in building relationships and setting clear expectations.
