Nikanos Mediterranean Bar and Grille restaurant is looking for a talented sous chef to join their team. Working with the chef you will help with the day to day running or the kitchen along with assisting and training cooks with preparation, precision and making sure each plate is at its best. They are looking for someone who can grow with the team who loves to learn and try new things.
- Minimum two years experience in a kitchen as a head line cook or sous chef.
- ServSafe certification
- Ability to follow directions and procedures.
- Remain calm in a busy kitchen
- Check and “polish” plates before they reach customers
- Deal with issues in a calm manner
- Be able to LISTEN and multi task.
- Supervise line cooks and help them grow
- Most of all be able to enjoy yourself, have fun and respect your other team members
