Nectar & Green is a Boston-based, female-founded wellness company, cold-pressing and bottling organic almond and oat milk. Sustainability is a top priority for them, from the ingredients they source to composting and minimizing waste in their commercial kitchen. They are currently hiring a Production Assistant (2) days per week. This is a perfect position for hardworking, detail-oriented candidates who are passionate about plant-based food, sustainability and high quality ingredients.
+ Work with small team to produce and bottle cold-pressed almond / oat milk using small-scale equipment – 2 days per week
+ Maintain a safe and organized kitchen environment
+ Assist in daily cleaning and organizational tasks
+ Compensation includes a weekly supply of almond milk
+ Tuesdays 10am-3pm (production)
+ Wednesdays 10am-3pm (production)
(note: start and end times are approximate, additional hours available)
+ Experience working in a commercial kitchen preferred but not required
+ Basic understanding of food safety guidelines
+ Ability to carry out multi-step procedures with an increasing level of independence and efficiency
+ Ability to work independently and within a small team
+ Willingness to learn and accept feedback
+ Positivity and commitment to team + company mission
+ Reliability and willingness to take initiative when needed
+ Prompt and effective communication (in person and via email)
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Their team is all fully vaccinated. COVID-19 vaccination is required. Masks are provided and currently required inside of their space. They do not interact with the public.
This position is : hourly, $15-20/hr
