Mooncusser Fish House is currently seeking a sous chef for their dynamic, highly acclaimed seafood restaurant. There is fine dining upstairs, a wine bar downstairs, and and a fast casual lunch take-out window. All of the menus are focused on New England seafood and other local, seasonal products. The ideal candidate has 3 or more years of experience as a line cook in a top-tier restaurant and is ready to take the next step in career development. They will also have a strong work ethic, enthusiasm for learning and a passion for food. A culinary degree and/or previous management experience will be considered a plus but are not required. The sous chef will work a station on the line nightly, as well as work closely with the chef on everything from menu development, production, butchering, product sourcing, kitchen leadership and sanitation. The right candidate will have the potential for promotion to Chef de Cuisine. The restaurant is closed on Sunday! Pay will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
