Mooncusser Fish House – Garde Manger Cook

 Mooncusser Fish House is currently seeking line cooks, most specifically for the garde manger (cold) station which is responsible for an extensive raw fish program, salads, cold appetizers and dessert plating. The elegant New England seafood menu is inspired by French technique and local, seasonal products. The ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, enthusiasm for learning and a passion for food. A culinary degree is considered a plus, but is not required – it is an ideal position for a culinary student or someone with a little experience looking to get their foot in the door at a great restaurant. This is a fabulous opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen with ample opportunity for growth; exposure and experience with whole fish butchery, seafood charcuterie, pickling, pasta making, bread baking and pastry. There is also lots of opportunity to work in the other concepts/kitchens: Moon Bar, Cusser’s Roast Beef and Seafood, and our Concord restaurant 80 Thoreau. Hiring for night positions only, full and part-time applications will be considered. The restaurant is closed on Sunday. Pay will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
