Moko Japanese Cuisine – Sushi Chef or Sushi Sous Chef

Moko Japanese Cuisine is South Boston is looking for either a sushi chef or a helper to the sushi chef.

Sushi Chef responsibilities include:
-You will be responsible for the quality of any items made on the sushi bar.
-Manage supporting staff on the sushi line.
-Complete food prep activities like cleaning fish, prepping vegetables, and making rice.
-Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi.
-Daily cleaning of the sushi bar before and after shift.
-Role will include up to 35 hours per week.

Sushi Chef Helper responsibilities include:
-You will support the Sushi Chef by making any items required of the sushi bar.
-Complete food prep activities like cleaning fish, prepping vegetables, and making rice.
-Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi.
-Daily cleaning of the sushi bar before and after shift.
-Role will include up to 35 hours per week.

Experience requires at least 1 year of working as a Sushi Chef if interested in the Chef position or at least 1 year as a Sushi Helper if interested in the Sushi Chef Helper position.

The salary or hourly rate is dependent upon your skills, which will be requested during the interview.
