Merrimack Valley Golf Club is seeking a full time Executive Chef! We are a public golf club, with two function spaces, one bar and restaurant with outdoor seating on the main floor. A new restaurant is set to open soon on the second floor, overlooking the golf course. Merrimack Valley Golf Club is seeking a dynamic leader, who is not afraid of a challenge, wants to be part of an environment that breeds creativity, and is a team player. Comradery is a large part of the culture at MVGC. The Executive Chef will work intimately with BOH and FOH; ability to communicate and be flexible are two of the key pillars of our ideal candidate.
The day-to-day tasks of the job will include, but are not limited to, ordering, scheduling, prepping, cooking, and directing all other BOH members. The ideal candidate will be asked to adhere to budget for labor and food costs. Merrimack Valley Golf Club is open year-round, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The person in this position will be a leader in the true sense of the word, uplifting themselves and their staff to strive to exceed expectations. They will be open to collaboration with FOH and understand that we are all one team.
