Barbara Lynch Collective, founded by Chef Barbara Lynch, is an acclaimed collection of seven unique and memorable culinary experiences in Boston’s Fort Point, South End, and Beacon Hill neighborhoods. All Barbara Lynch entities are united by their core belief in the employee above all; by providing weekly education on topics ranging from wine and products, to emotional intelligence, to hospitality techniques, they are able to provide each guest, through their employees, with an experience that goes beyond the culinary alone. They are seeking a Front Server to join Menton, the city’s only Relais & Châteaux fine dining restaurant.
Ideal candidates will possess an innate desire and ability to provide refined hospitality rooted in humility and anticipation of guests’ needs. They will also demonstrate a strong work ethic that reflects respect for the products being served; the chefs who created them; and the individuals who serve them. Furthermore, ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of service etiquette and mechanics along with an appreciation of how they contribute to the hospitality experience. Servers work in partnership with their Captains, performing a number of responsibilities that directly impact guests’ dining experience. Ideal candidates should have one to two years experience in fine dining, preferably in a front/back service model. However, they are ready to train the right candidate regardless of experience.
