Menton, Barbara Lynch’s fine dining Relais and Chateaux property in Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood, is seeking an Event Chef to oversee menu development and execution for its dedicated Private Event Room and Chef’s Table. The Private Event Chef will work under the Menton CDC and alongside the Pastry Chef and Sous Chefs. While the focus of this position will be on Menton’s dedicated event space, the Event Chef will be fully integrated into Main Dining Room service, working expo and stations as needed in weeks when events are light. Above all, applicants will be passionate about food, food culture, and hospitality; eager students and patient educators; able to motivate and inspire a team of diverse individuals; and believe in leading by example. Ideal applicants will have 2 or more years prior kitchen managerial experience as well as private event experience.
