Mamaleh’s, State Park & Cafe du Pays – Line Cooks

J​oin their family! They are hiring line cooks at all of their restaurants – Mamaleh’s Delicatessen, State Park and recently opened, Café du Pays.

They’re looking for Full Time line cooks. Both AM and PM shifts available. Professional kitchen experience required. Must be quick moving, energetic, and have a positive attitude. They offer competitive pay and benefits after 60 days, as well as a revenue sharing program where 5% of food sales is shared among back of house employees on a monthly basis. During their first 4 months of revenue sharing, the bonus on top of hourly wages has been an average of $2-$2.50

Mamaleh’s Delicatessen, the first modern Jewish Delicatessen in the Boston area, has brought classic deli fare to Kendall Square, Cambridge. Most items made from scratch, in-house; smoked meat, cured fish, pickles, breads, bagels, pastries, and more. They are open 7 days a week 8am-10pm serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with brunch on the weekends. Thy were recently named finalists for Bon Appetit’s Best New Restaurants in America!

State Park is sometimes a restaurant and sometimes a bar. They host office parties on some nights and live bands on others. They serve lunch to a great regular crowd during the week and a hopping brunch on the weekends. They’ve got a few dining rooms all with their own vibe, and a patio that is loved by all, even dogs! They have an extensive bar program and offer delicious American fare in a casual environment, always with high standards for food, drink, and service. They have a pool table, neon signs, pitchers of beer, taxidermy, craft spirits, live music, and magnums of wine.

Café du Pays (opened July 2017) is inspired by French Canadian culture and food. The menu, developed by Head Chef Dan Amighi, showcases the hearty cuisine, balanced with lighter New England seafood and produce. The bar features Quebec and New England breweries, French wines and spirits, and a list of cocktails with inspiration and ingredients from Canada down through Massachusetts.

They are a family run, independent, award winning restaurant group who are sustainably minded and have proudly operated restaurants in Cambridge since 2008. The ownership and management team work hard alongside their staff daily and have enacted a food revenue sharing program amongst their BOH team. Seeking like minded individuals!

Applicants without the preferred amount of experience may be considered for other back of house positions within their growing restaurant group.
