Mamaleh’s – Office Assistant

Big Dipper Restaurant Group (Mamaleh’s, State Park, Cafe du Pays) is hiring a part-time Office Assistant to support the administrative team and restaurant managers with various projects. Preferred availability is Monday-Friday, 10-15 hours/week with room for growth.

About Big Dipper:

They are a family run, independent, award winning restaurant group who are sustainably minded and have proudly operated restaurants in Cambridge since 2008. The ownership and management team work hard alongside their staff daily and have enacted a food revenue sharing program among their BOH team. Seeking like minded individuals!

Skills and Minimum Experience Required:

  • At least 1 year of customer service experience
  • High School Degree or Equivalent (Some college preferred)
  • Strong people skills and a professional demeanor is a must
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to create and maintain organization and communication with supervisors
  • Computer and typing skills mandatory – must be comfortable learning and becoming proficient in new technology and software
  • Must be a fast learner
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently
  • Ability to confidently answer guest phone calls and emails

Responsibilities and Duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Keeping all offices tidy and organized
  • Preparing cash deposits for bank
  • Running errands for management team as needed
  • Retrieving and processing mail and shipping packages as needed
  • Troubleshooting any problems that arise with internet and phone system
  • Collecting and alphabetizing invoices
  • Fulfilling donation requests
  • Scanning and uploading documents to employee files
  • Completing Data Entry
  • Checking individual restaurant voicemail and email and forwarding messages to appropriate parties
