The host position involves warmly greeting and managing the flow of guests in the restaurant using their reservation software and lots of communication. Are you good at puzzles and thinking on your feet?! Also involved: taking phone orders, making reservations, general inquiries, online orders, coordinating with delivery drivers, some sidework including cleaning and stocking. Weekend brunch availability required.
This position is a great stepping stone for careers in many industries! Experience in a public facing role that is fast paced and requires great attention to detail is valuable on any resume.
The ideal candidate has a cheery, positive attitude, a genuine interest in food and beverage, with a passion for hospitality, and a drive to learn and grow within a team environment. Those who succeed in this company possess much common sense as well as the ability to multi-task and prioritize with authenticity, warmth, and finesse. Experience in establishments with high quality food and drink in service-focused environments preferred. Prior experience in a food establishment or a guest facing position strongly preferred.
