Some of the things you’ll do:
- Work with a team to create exceptional guest experiences
- Follow steps of service to meet standards to provide timely and efficient service to every guest
- Ensure tables are well-maintained and guests have everything they need
- Assist guests with navigating the menu, paying attention to allergens and highlighting craft beverage options
- Assist in running food throughout the shift and maintaining pre-bussing
- Maintain knowledge of food, beverage, and gaming options
- Build rapport with guests, actively assist them, and communicate their requests
- Complete opening, closing, and running duties as assigned each shift
- Attend required training sessions and team meetings
- Create a fun and celebratory atmosphere for guests at every table
- Exceed guest expectations by providing friendly and caring service
- Anticipate guests’ needs and ensure their overall experience exceeds expectations
- Work well with others as a team player
Some of the things we need from you:
- Strong guest service skills, with a focus on creating positive experiences
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills, including comfort with talking to strangers
- Ability to work well in a team and a fast-paced environment
- Experience in high-volume restaurants/bars is preferred
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to maintaining standards
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Self-awareness, receptivity to change, and integrity
- Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings, -weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, stoop, and bend as required by the job
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a high-volume environment
- Desire for continued learning and development through training and education
- Emotional intelligence and self-awareness to provide excellent guest service
- Ability to obtain required licenses and certifications for the job
