Lehrhaus – Bartender

Lehrhaus: Lehrhaus: A Jewish Tavern & House of Learning featuring creative takes on food from around the Jewish world is looking for a fun & outgoing bartender to join their team. Named one of the 50 best new restaurants in the country of 2023, Lehrhaus is a project unlike any other and one of the hottest additions to the Boston restaurant community.

Check out the accolades from Esquire’s 50 Best, the front page of The Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, Eater Boston, and Thrillist, and come be a part of building this unique concept!

Lehrhaus operates a unique service model in which all front of house staff share responsibilities and work each aspect of service from bartending to food-running. Our hospitality-driven tavern service encourages interaction and story telling while also creating a streamlined experience for both our guests and staff. As we like to say,weʼre not full service, but we are full hospitality.

The beverage program is the brainchild of award winning bar manager Naomi Levy (Eastern Standard, Bow Market, Maccabee Bar, and more), with cocktails ranging across continents, exploring the dynamic flavors of the Jewish diaspora. The food menu is similarly a wide representation of what Jewish food has come to encompass today.

We encourage all backgrounds to apply. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of restaurant experience and a passion for hospitality. Bartending experience is preferred, however we are happy to train the right person who is looking to take the next step in their career. Sunday availability is a must.
