Lehrhaus: A Jewish Tavern & House of Learning is looking for welcoming and charismatic Bartender-Servers to join their team. Both full and part-time positions are available. We’ve recently opened and are far busier than projected, so we’re looking to bring the right people on board to help us grow.
Lehrhaus operates a unique service model in which all front of house staff share responsibilities and work each aspect of service from bartending to food-running. Our hospitality-driven modified counter service encourages interaction and story telling while also creating a streamlined experience for both our guests and staff. As we like to say, we’re not full service, but we are full hospitality.
The beverage program is the brain-child of award winning bar manager Naomi Levy (Eastern Standard, Bow Market, Maccabee Bar, and more), with cocktails ranging across continents, exploring the dynamic flavors of the Jewish diaspora. The food menu is similarly a wide
representation of what Jewish food has come to encompass today.
We encourage all backgrounds to apply. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of restaurant experience and a passion for hospitality. Bartending experience is preferred, however we are happy to train the right person who is looking to take the next step in their career. Sunday availability is a must.

Lehrhaus is a space for people of all backgrounds to experience Judaism through food & drink, ancient texts, poetry, literature, lively conversation, and more. Lehrhaus offers a kosher, pescatarian, and dairy (no meat other than fish, no shellfish) menu to be as inclusive as possible to all diets.
