Ledger restaurant, located on Washington Street in downtown Salem. The renovation of the former Salem Savings Bank (circa 1818) is stunning and this historically unique location is home to the newest concept from Matt O’Neil chef/owner of The Blue Ox in Lynn. O’Neil has teamed up with Executive Chef, Daniel Gursha, formerly of A Voce and Bouley in New York City, on progressive New England cuisine, where traditional 19th century dishes and techniques are elevated with 21st century resources. This unique concept boasts wood fire cooking, house-made charcuterie, pastas, and an extensive raw bar, highlighting local farms, fishermen, and specialty purveyors. Ledger is open with dinner service six nights a week with brunch service on the weekends.
They are hiring Hosts to join their Front of the House Team. The host team is the first and last impressions to guests and a vital part of the team. Candidates should have a genuine love of hospitality, professionalism and self motivation. Ledger’s hosts are responsible for taking reservations through Opentable, reservation confirmations, answering phone calls and fielding event inquiries, menu printing and seating guests proficiently to both accommodate guests needs and maximize covers.
Restaurant and Opentable experience is preferred, but work ethic with the willingness to learn will take you very far with this growing restaurant!
