L’Andana is accepting applicants for Assistant Pastry Chef who are self-motivated, positive, and creative professionals with good communication skills and strong multi-tasking abilities. Candidates must also feel comfortable working with a small, dedicated team in a busy kitchen.
Responsibilities include—but are not limited to—managing daily a la carte production and plating design of desserts and banquet menu items, production of breads as needed, pastries, ice cream and sorbet, chocolates, and special occasion cakes. Some managerial responsibilities also include, ordering and maintaining inventory.
They are willing to train and work with the right candidate.
This is a full time position (32 hours) with all morning shifts, and will require weekends.
