Lamb Jam Boston returns Sunday, June 23rd from 2-6pm at the Innovation Design Building and we’re looking for 15-20 volunteers to help this epic chef competition and culinary event! Below we have provided the roles and responsibilities for both the morning and afternoon shifts. As a thank you, the Lamb Jam team will ensure that you have time to enjoy the event during or after your shift.
LAMB JAM – LOAD IN // CHECK IN
Room Set – Place linens, put together voting boxes, place garbage cans, place slim jims behind restaurants tables, place furniture and cocktail tables throughout the space
Load In Monitors – Stationed in the loading zone, help vendors load in beer/wine/food from loading dock onto carts and take to vendor’s booth
Vendor Setup – Distribute plates, forks and napkins to all food vendors. Set up each beverage vendor with filled water pitcher, dump bucket, and ice. Check with vendors to make sure they have everything they need.
Glassware/Registration Setup – Setup glassware, set out programs at registration, rip up wristbands
Judging – Assist with running dishes to media judging
Check In – Kick off VIP check in, check IDs, scan tickets, hand out programs and voting coins
LAMB JAM – AFTERNOON EVENT TEAM
Registration – Check ID’s. Scan tickets, hand out programs and voting coins
VIP – Monitor guests to ensure VIPs are the only ones with access to event prior to 2pm
T-shirt Sales – Using Square to sell t-shirts, providing t-shirt to VIPs
Vendor Runners – Assist catering staff with making sure vendors have everything they need. Deliver ice to breweries and wineries, empty dump buckets, fill water pitchers. If garbage is piling up, find catering staff
Clean Up – Assist in breakdown of the room: pulling linens, putting garbage in cans, etc
