La Gallina Mediterranean Eatery & Bar – Runner/Busser

La Gallina Mediterranean Eatery and Bar, opening in Lynnfield this summer, is seeking a motivated restaurant and culinary professional ready to join a small but mighty team. The restaurant’s partners, Matthias Kiehm and James Wierzelewski, are hospitality and real estate industry experts with decades of experience. We are looking for passionate, creative thinkers to build this new restaurant together.

  • Provide timely and friendly service to guests
  • Service guests with all food and beverage requirements in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner
  • Serve alcohol responsibly within State, Local and Store level laws and guidelines
  • Have a thorough knowledge of menus, ingredients, out of stock items and current specials in all applicable venues
  • Perform opening and closing duties according to established side work checklist
  • Works in a clean in an organized manner keeping assigned stations and service areas maintained during shifts
  • Have a complete knowledge of standards of service
  • Assists other team members guests as needed, both with and without the direction of management
  • Re-stocks items and supplies as needed and alerts management of shortages
  • Accurately and promptly prepares and tenders guests’ payments.
  • Communicates health and/or safety concerns/violations immediately to the management
  • Assume 100% responsibility for the quality of services provided
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
  • Assist in the investigation of customer complaints regarding food quality and service

Skills and Qualifications

  • Restaurant experience preferred
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
  • A strong team player who supports their team and embraces ownership, accountability, and responsibility for the team’s work
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, good prioritization and follow up skills
  • Basic understanding of Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Employment legislation
  • Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business
  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Competitive pay and benefits package

Employment Type(s): Full Time, Part Time
Base Pay: $8.60 (plus tips)/hour
