Kured is looking for a Kitchen Manager to help us continue to grow our Beacon Hill location! The ideal candidate is experienced and passionate, well-organized, and leads enthusiastically. This is a great opportunity for someone with culinary experience looking to grow their management skills and take the next step in their career!

Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen including work stations, fridges, and display counter
- Internal and external ordering and updating of par sheets
- Managing and taking stock of inventory
- Maintain food and labor costs percentages as set by the GM
- Take the lead on all kitchen repairs and keep kitchen equipment in good working order
- Execution of daily food prep tasks for both sandwiches and charcuterie
- Be vigilant with product quality
- Ability to create systems to support daily service
- Work hand in hand with the General Manager
- Incredible attention to the product and working environment, looking at the big picture view of the store while developing team members by providing on-going coaching and training in order to ensure high performance effective service
- Support the staff in their work; correct issues, help make smooth transitions with changes, jump in to help manage workload, maintain a calm and composed demeanor regardless of whatever is going on
- Play an active and engaged role with all food assuring our entire menu is being prepared properly and getting to our guests in a timely manner
- Be a vocal part of the team to improve Kured
- Spanish speaking is preferred
Requirements:
- 2+ years managing a restaurant team/kitchen
- Be able to lift, move, and carry 50+lbs
- Be able to work 8+ hours a day on feet
- Have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, & mornings/afternoons/evenings
- Excellent reliability
- Honesty, transparency, participation, and commitment to growing both yourself, the business, and those around you
- Enthusiasm for the standard consistent with Kured’s core values and culture (openness, empowering authenticity, facilitating conversation, and supporting artists.)
- Food Safety Certification (Servsafe)
Salary:
$55,000/year

Hours: Kured is open 8AM – 6PM every day of the week. Weekend availability is required, the rest of your working days will be determined by the needs of the business.
