Island Creek Oysters – Raw Bar FOH Positions

The Raw Bar at Island Creek Oyster Farm is all in the name. They are a seasonal raw bar overlooking scenic Duxbury Bay where guests can eat and enjoy freshly shucked oysters that are grown on site. Also serving up tinned fish, caviar, local craft beer, wine, cocktails, s’mores and killer views. Open May – October. And they’re looking for shuckers, bartenders, counter persons, and food runners for their summer season.

● Greeting and welcoming customers and giving advice and guidance on product selection
● Maintaining knowledge of new and current product offerings, including but not limited to shellfish, seafood, beer, wine and retail products
● Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through passionate & honest sales service
● Taking orders and processing payments
● Properly IDing patrons at POS when ordering alcoholic beverages
● Delivering orders to diners on the patio
● Clearing, cleaning and restocking patio area
● Light food prep duties
● Maintaining a clean and pleasant environment for both coworkers and customers

● Availability to work flexible shifts
● Ability to work independently
● Familiarity with inventory procedures
● A friendly and hospitality driven personality
● Shucking skills a plus
● Ability to execute a recipe, basic culinary skills
● Previous restaurant or hospitality experience a plus
