Island Creek Oyster Bar – Bakery Sous Chef

Island Creek Oyster Bar is seeking a Bakery Sous Chef to join their Bakeshop team. Located across from Fenway Park in the heart of Kenmore Square, the Bakeshop provides bread and pastries year-round for an expanding group of high-volume restaurants. Their kitchen atmosphere stresses high-quality products first, followed by “working smarter, not harder.”

Working with Chef Eric Henning, you will be producing artisan breads and breakfast pastries including assorted rolls, baguettes, brioche, croissants, muffins, scones, rustic hearth loaves, etc, as well as managing the production pars and scheduling staff.

All products are made completely from scratch.

Qualified candidates must have previous experience working in a bakery.
Management experience is preferred but not required.
