Himmel Hospitality Group – Director of Marketing

As the Marketing Director at Himmel Hospitality Group, you will play a key role in shaping our brand image and engaging our audience through relationship building, outreach, and community involvement. You will be responsible for developing a cohesive marketing plan across all brands, including all budgets and sales expectations with goal targeted initiatives as well as planned activities for multiple digital platforms and channels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development of a cohesive Marketing Plan with expansion capabilities
  • Development and mentoring of HHG Marketing Manager
  • Collaboration and inclusivity with Sales Director, specifically to push overall revenue among all restaurants
  • Collaboration with all other internal teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives
  • Development and execution of a content strategy that resonates with our audience and promotes our restaurants and overall brand
  • Create and curate engaging and visually appealing content, including images, videos, and print media
  • Procure photographers, videographers, and artists in line with our brand
  • Consistent interaction with our followers; respond to comments, messages, and reviews, and foster a sense of community around our brand
  • Plan and execute a social strategy that drives traffic to our restaurants
  • Develop a loyalty/recognition and rewards program for our customers to improve experience and build a consistent following
  • Utilize social media analytics tools to track the performance of posts and campaigns, providing regular reports and insights to the management team and making data-driven recommendations for improvements
  • Utilize Mail Chimp to create engaging email blasts, target audiences for specific moments and events
  • Review presence for all key positions on LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok
  • Engage with local influencers to foster relationships, enhancing our exposure and reach
  • Ensure content is captured in real time during service, onsite/offsite events, and other key moments
  • Evaluate and further develop our websites and media as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in managing social media accounts for a restaurant hospitality organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Mail Chimp and other digital communication platforms
  • Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms
  • Creative thinking and an eye for visual aesthetics
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry, including new restaurant openings, chefs of note, and culinary influencers
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated passion for food and hospitality
  • Self-reliant in generating, editing, and producing social media content across various platforms
  • Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

Base Pay: $120k (plus bonus)/year
